What is RECD?

NCR RECD Services RECD retrofit emission control device for DG Set to reduce Particulate Matter (PM) from the exhaust gases. It is designed to capture and remove the fine particles that are produced during the combustion process of diesel generators. The pollutants in the generator’s exhaust first pass through the catalyst along the airflow. Hydrocarbons (HC) and Carbon monoxide (CO) undergo a redox reaction with oxygen, converting them into harmless carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O) .
